National Certificate Level 4 in Jewellery Design, Manufacturing and Stone setting

Course Overview

The training programme has been designed to upgrade trainees who are already in the field of jewellery manufacturing or who have completed the basic skills in jewellery making.

Entry requirements

At least 16 years old

AND

Completed Form III / 9th Grade of the NYCBE OR Successfully completed Form II / 8th Grade of the NYCBE + 2 years working experience in the field of Jewellery OR Successfully completed PVE 4

AND

Successfully completed the National Certificate Level 3 in Jewellery Manufacturing and Design OR the National Certificate Level 3 in Jewellery Making

OR Any other equivalent qualification and experience acceptable to the Institute.

Eligible Candidates shall be invited for an interactive session at the Institution to proceed with the selection process.

.Tution Fees per year: Free or Rs. 35,000 for students who are not eligible for Free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES) / SADC Countries

Note

1. As announced in the Budget Speech 2025/2026, the Free Tertiary Education Schemes (FTES) has been reviewed to cover only full-time students as from academic Year 2025-2026.

The scheme covers tuition fees for Full-Time Registered Students of Mauritian Nationality enrolled in a recognized first award certificate, first diploma and first undergraduate programme. This exemption will apply for payment of tuition fees only, administrative fees and registration fees will be paid by the students.
