Pearson BTEC Level5 (HND) Higher National Diploma in in Art and Design (Digital Design)

Course Overview

This course is intended for students wishing to pursue a career in the field of Digital Design.

Entry requirements

3 credits at SC /‘O’ level and at least a pass in English Language

At least 2 credits at SC/'O' level including Art/Design related subject and at least a pass in English AND National Certificate Level 3 in Jewellery Manufacturing and Design OR any equivalent qualification acceptable to the Institute

AND

2 ‘A’ levels preferably in one subject related to Art/Design OR Level 3 Pearson BTEC Extended Diploma in Art and Design OR Level 3 Pearson BTEC Foundation Diploma in Art & Design OR Mature candidates having a creative portfolio in Art & Design and at least 3 years experience in the relevant field OR any equivalent qualification acceptable to the institute.

Eligible Candidates will be requested to present a portfolio (preferably a Digital portfolio)

Full Time

.Higher National Student Annual Fee: £ 24 (Applicable for the second year and other subsequent years)
.Tution Fees per year: Rs. 45,000 for students who are not eligible for Free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES) / SADC Countries

Part Time for Local Student
.Administrative Fees per year: Rs. 5,000
.Deposit (Refundable) - one off: Rs. 4,000
.Pearson Registration Fees - one off: £ 350
.Higher National Student Annual Fee: £ 24 (Applicable for the second year and other subsequent years)
.Tution Fees per year: Rs. 45,000

International Studens (Full Time)
.Administrative Fees per year: Rs. 5,000

.Tution Fees per year: Rs. 150,000

Note

1. As announced in the Budget Speech 2025/2026, the Free Tertiary Education Schemes (FTES) has been reviewed to cover only full-time students as from academic Year 2025-2026.

The scheme covers tuition fees for Full-Time Registered Students of Mauritian Nationality enrolled in a recognized first award certificate, first diploma and first undergraduate programme. This exemption will apply for payment of tuition fees only, administrative fees and registration fees will be paid by the students.

2. **The Higher National (HN) Student Annual Fee is applicable for those students continuing into their second or subsequent year of study.

3. Fees are subject to change without Prior notice
