Course Overview

This course is intended for students wishing to pursue a career in the field of Fashion & Textiles.

Entry requirements

Minimum of one A-Level at Higher School Certificate (HSC)

AND

A Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in relevant Design discipline OR a Diploma in any relevant Design discipline pitched at level 6 of National Qualifications Framework (NQF) from a recognized institution and as approved by the Awarding Body.

Note

All the Applications will have to go through the committee of the Awarding Body prior to confirmation of admission.

Course Content

Fees

Full Time
.Administrative Fees per year: Rs 5,000
.Deposit (Refundable)- one off: Rs 4,000
.Registration Fees - Per year: Rs 6,000
.Tution Fees per year: Free or Rs. 45,000 for students who are not eligible for free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES)/SDADC Countries

Part Time for Local Student:
.Administartive Fees: Year 1 - Rs.4,900 and Year 2 Rs.4,800
.Deposit (Refundable) - one off: Rs.4,000
.Registration Fees: Year 1 - Rs. 6,000 and Year 2 Rs. 3,000
.Tution Fees per year: Year 1 - Rs. 31,400 and Year 2 Rs. 15,700

International Students (Full Time)
.Administrative Fees per year: Rs. 5,000
.Deposit (Refundable) - one off: Rs. 4,000
.Registration Fees - per year: Rs. 6,000
.Tution Fees per Year: Rs. 150,000

Note

1. As announced in the Budget Speech 2025/2026, the Free Tertiary Education Schemes (FTES) has been reviewed to cover only full-time students as from academic Year 2025-2026

The scheme covers tuition fees for Full-Time Registered Students of Mauritian Nationality enrolled in a recognized first award certificate, first diploma and first undergraduate programme. This exemption will apply for payment of tuition fees only, administrative fees and registration fees will be paid by the students.
