Course Overview
The training programme aims to impart basic knowledge, develop basic trade skill and inculcate positive attitude in the trainees.
Entry requirements
- At least 16 years old
- Completed Form III / 9th Grade of the NYCBE OR
Successfully completed Form II / 8th Grade of the NYCBE + 2 years working experience in the field of Jewellery making OR
Successfully completed PVE 4 Or Any other equivalent qualification and experience acceptable to the Institute. Note :
Eligible Candidates shall be invited for an interactive session at the Institution to proceed with the selection process.

1.* In January 2019, Government decided to provide free tertiary education level courses (award certificate, diploma and degree) run on full time or part time mode by Public Education Institutions (PEIs). The scheme covers tuition fees for students of Mauritian Nationality enrolled in a recognized first award certificate, first diploma and first-degree programme on either full-time, part-time mode.
